Chris Brown is an American singer in the hip hop and R&B genre. He is also an actor. His first album, which was self titled, was released in 2005. The first single, Run It, hit Number 1 on the Billboard charts. The album also sold over 2 million copies. Following that up was 2007’s Exclusive. The single “Kiss Kiss” also hit number 1, and the single “With You” peaked at number 2. His third studio album, Graffiti, did not spawn a top-10 single. Brown’s 4th studio album, F.A.M.E. was released in 2011. Brown made his film debut in Stomp the Yard. He then followed that up with a feature role in This Christmas. In 2009, Brown was arrested for brutally assaulting Rihanna, his then girlfriend. In August 2009, Brown was sentenced to 6 months of community service, 5 years probation, and a year of Domestic Violence counseling after accepting a plea bargain.
