David Guetta (born Pierre David Guetta) is a French music producer and DJ. He was born November 7, 1967 in Paris, France, and began DJing professionally at age 17. In 1990, Guetta released his first album, called Nation Rap. He began hosting his own club nights, and DJed for several big nightclubs in the area. In 1994, he released a second album, and became a manager at the Le Palace nightclub. It was not until a few years later that he began producing music again, and by 2008 he had several hit singles out, including Just a Little More Love, Love Dont Let Me Go, and Love is Gone. In 2010, with the release of his extremely well-received fourth album One Love, Guetta branched into the American charts for the first time. His song with the Black Eyed Peas, called I Gotta Feeling, earned a record for most downloads in the US, and topped charts all over the world. Guetta continues to be one of the most admired and requested producers, and has recently worked with hit American artists like Coldplay, Flo Rida, Ludacris, and Usher. He has won several awards over the last few years, including a place in the Top 100 DJs list, a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, and International Album of the Year.
