With the talents of comedic icons Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres, who lent their voices to the main characters in this visually stunning and funny film from Pixar, "Finding Nemo" was an instant classic. Creatures from the deep, from lethal jellyfish to surfer sea turtles to toothy sharks, populate this film about the tiny clownfish Nemo who is captured by fishermen when he ventures out for the first time without his father Marlin's protection. In an effort to get his son back, Marlin (Brooks) enlists the help of memory-challenged Dory, a regal tang, and they track Nemo all the way to an aquarium in Sydney, Australia, where his new friends help plan an escape so that he can be reunited with his father. This is a film for all ages, as evidenced by its box office take. "Finding Nemo" was the second highest-grossing film of 2003, behind "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" and went on to become the best-selling DVD of all time, selling more than 40 million copies after release in that format. Critics were also kind and "Finding Nemo" took the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. The American Film Institute names it the 10th greatest animated film ever made.
